ICU & HDU at Kagio Hospital
Kagio Hospital is among the few facilities in Kirinyaga County with a fully operational Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and High Dependency Unit (HDU). Critically ill patients receive continuous monitoring, ventilator support and specialised interventions without the risk and cost of long-distance referral.
The unit is manned 24 hours by critical-care trained doctors and nurses, supported by modern patient monitors, infusion systems and our in-house laboratory for rapid decision-making.
